Most of the women I work with are not underqualified. They are under-translated.
They are the person their colleagues quietly rely on. The one who can teach the room, hold complexity, and make the work move.
They are senior, respected, and trusted and still, when it comes time to describe their own value in their own words outside the safety of a job title or an org chart — the language tends to disappear.
That isn't a confidence problem. It's a translation problem and it has a cost. The women I work with are not trying to become influencers.
They are trying to become owners of their voice, their offers, their intellectual property, and the income that flows from all three.
Why This Work Matters to Me
I spent years inside organizations, in talent development, facilitation, and change work — helping people learn, grow, and lead with more clarity.
From the inside, I had a front-row seat to a pattern that played out in nearly every company I touched. The women with the deepest expertise were often the least visible.
They built the frameworks others presented. They quietly carried the institutional memory. They translated executive vision into something a team could actually use. When restructuring hit, leadership changed, or the budget tightened, the value they had spent years compounding stayed inside the building while they were shown the door.
It didn't leave with them. It couldn't. It had never been packaged in a way that could.
I watched brilliant women restart from scratch in their fifties because the asset they thought they were building (a career) was never really theirs to own.
That is what I refuse to keep watching.
A few things I've come to believe, and won't pretend otherwise.
I believe expertise is an asset, and assets should be owned.
I believe being indispensable inside an organization is not the same as being protected by one.
I believe most women experts do not need to "build a personal brand." They need to translate what they already know into language, offers, and structures that can carry weight outside the building.
I believe behavioral science — how adults actually learn, decide, and buy — should be the foundation of any offer worth selling. Not borrowed tactics from someone else's industry.
I believe you should not have to become a different person to build something of your own. You should get to build it as yourself, at your pace, on your terms.

She is not looking for hype, and she has a low tolerance for advice that sounds like it was written for someone half her age and a quarter her experience.

Background & Credentials
The Qualifications Behind the Work.
I'm a Certified Professional in Talent Development and a change management practitioner. I hold dual graduate degrees in Instructional Design & Technology and Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
That combination matters. Instructional design taught me how to build things people can actually learn from. I-O psychology taught me how people, systems, and incentives actually behave inside organizations. Change management taught me what it really takes to move someone from where they are to where they want to be.
I bring all three to this work. Learning strategy, positioning, and systems thinking, in service of one outcome: helping women experts turn what they know into work and income they own.
